On the second of June, Augustine Jewels opened its doors for an intimate discussion with fine art photographer Celia Rogge, in conversation with Petra Khashoggi.

"Enfilades" is a meditation on threshold and perspective — rooms that open endlessly into one another, each frame a world unto itself.
Rogge's work has long occupied the space between architecture and atmosphere, where the built environment becomes a stage for something altogether more ineffable. Her latest series, Enfilades, takes its name from the classical arrangement of aligned doorways — a device favoured by the great châteaux of Europe — and used to explore how space compresses desire, how gilded interiors hold time differently than ordinary rooms do.
It is a sensibility that resonates deeply with the ethos of Augustine Jewels. Every piece we create is itself a kind of enfilade: layer upon layer of intention, craft, and material, opening onto a view that is at once intimate and grand. To wear a jewel is to carry a room with you.
